question
Our basic assumption is that, just as every child is unique, so is every learning challenge. Our methodology is to identify the precise cognitive difficulty the child is experiencing, then apply a combination of tested, validated strategies for strengthening areas of weakness.
Students and parents are often astonished at the rapid progress that is made following even a few sessions with us. Hence, it is critically important that students be encouraged not to feel ashamed of their difficulties.
If you have reason to believe that your child is experiencing unusual difficulties at school, we encourage you to call or set up an appointment.

Young Scholars has its roots abroad. It started in 1998 as a private school offering one-on-one and small group tutoring, high school and college test prep workshops, teacher trainings and Kindergarten course.
"Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it."
Proverbs 22:6

Hi Krishna,
Our family moved here in Southern California last 2006. Nicah is currently in 4th grade and Daphnie is in 1st grade. They're both doing great, they love school, they have friends and they really have no problem adjusting.
Nicah is in the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Program here and we're all proud of her. After her final year at Young Scholars, she went to St. James and finished her 1st grade with honor.
Young Scholars definitely gave her a very good academic foundation and she's forever grateful for it. Her love for learning all started in Young Scholars.
I still remember my surprise then when she started reading at age 3 and when she did her word problem at age 4 and how she mastered her roman numerals and multiplication at age 5. Nicah's accomplishments really help develop her self confidence and it also serves as an inspiration and encouragement for her to do more challenging tasks.
Now, Nicah is still active in her school as always. She makes sure that she's part of every school activity or event i.e. Talent Show, Spelling bee, Student Council, Singing group, Science Fair.
I attached a picture of her and her sister and you'll be surprised how big she is now.
Well, hope everything is fine with you and the kids too. We're really happy to hear from you again.
Donna
