Write it Right

This course is designed for upper elementary to high school students. For one on one tutoring, please schedule an assessment appointment first so we could modify our teaching strategies based on your child's needs. It is offered all year round.

For group sessions, assessments will be on the first day of class.

Writing Assessment
Assessment is necessary to identify the student's stengths and needs. We will discuss the instructional implications and the suggested curriculum based on the results.
Writing Workshop I (grades 4-6)
Writing Workshop II (grades 7-8)
Writing Workshop III (grades 9-12)
In this course, we will explore the relationship between reading and writing. Students will be exposed to varied styles used by well known authors. They will learn how to use pre-writing techniques, organize their thoughts, learn how to create powerful leads and transition sentences, use powerful words and learn the craft of writing. This is held in Reston, Tysons and Alexandria locations.
$295.00 for 7.5 hours/month
